Lord, this world is filled with trouble, but you say that I am not of this world. You tell me not to be anxious about anything but with prayer and petition to present my requests to you. Lord, I need peace. I know you promise peace like a river that washes over me, like the waves of the sea.

Amid the chaos, help me remember by filling me with a peace that surpasses all understanding and reminding me of how you have already overcome all my troubles.
