DAY 11 OF 31

May 11 – Scripture for Correction

Scripture corrects by exposing error and redirecting the believer to the truth. It not only affirms what is right, but also confronts what is wrong. This correction is necessary for growth and alignment with God’s will.

This matters because human thinking is not always accurate. Without correction, error persists and grows, but the Word of God serves as a standard that identifies wrong patterns and restores proper direction.

When correction is resisted, growth is hindered. People remain in error while assuming they are right. This leads to stagnation and eventual consequences. A believer who avoids correction will struggle to mature.

DAILY EXERCISE
Ask God to reveal one area where you need correction. Write down the Scripture that addresses it and commit to change.

PRAYER
Father, help me to receive correction from Your Word with humility. Let Your truth align my life. I pray for families, leaders, and believers across Nigeria that they will embrace correction and grow in truth. Lord, we ask that across nations, people will respond to Your Word with humility. Let the Church worldwide be refined and strengthened through correction.

CONFESSION
I receive correction from God’s Word. I grow and align with the truth daily.

READING BIBLE PLAN (RBP):
