A Spirit-Filled Moment: Encountering the Presence of Godნიმუში

Who Is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit can seem mysterious. We may picture God as Father and Jesus as Savior, but the Spirit feels less tangible. Yet Scripture paints a clear picture: He is God’s presence with us, personal, powerful, and holy.
Jesus describes the Spirit as wind: free, unseen, and dynamic. We cannot control Him, but we can experience His life-giving presence. Where He is, there is freedom not bondage, fear, or striving, but liberty to live as God intended.
The Spirit is also holy set apart, pure, majestic. His holiness reminds us that God is both intimate and awe-inspiring. When the Spirit comes, He doesn’t just comfort; He transforms. He takes residence in believers, making our lives temples of His presence.
Understanding who the Holy Spirit is, helps us recognize His work, quiet or powerful in our everyday lives.
Reflection Question:
How do you currently think about the Holy Spirit: as distant, mysterious, close, or something else?

About this Plan

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every leader at Exponential with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
