The Hospitable Heartნიმუში

THE PATH THAT PUFFS UP
Can you remember how earnestly you prayed for the things you now enjoy? You cried to God for breakthrough during seasons of hardship, waiting on Him day after day. Now that those prayers have been answered, you must not allow your present comfort to make you forget your past dependence — nor should your current position cause you to look down on those who are still in their own waiting rooms, crying out to God for a turn of their story.
We all came into this world with nothing. As children of our Heavenly Father, every blessing we possess is a gift from Him (James 1:17). God has entrusted people, resources, and responsibilities into your hands because He believes you will steward them well. Do not betray that trust by feeling superior or by looking down on others in any way. Whoever God places on your heart to care for is not a burden but a privilege — an opportunity to extend the comfort you have received.
Our Heavenly Father is the God of all comfort. He comforts us in every trial, not just for our sake but so that we may strengthen and comfort others walking through similar struggles (2 Corinthians 1:3–4). Your past battles were not wasted; they equipped you to lift someone else.
it is time to change direction today, if you have been walking on THE PATH THAT PUFFS UP.
