UP!

DAY 3 OF 4

What’s the Plan?

Main Idea: God’s plan is perfect even when ours change.

We all like a good plan—something predictable, measurable, and within our control. But faith doesn’t always fit neatly into our calendars. In Acts 2, Peter stood up, stepping into God’s plan for his life. His boldness wasn’t because everything was clear; it was because he trusted the One leading him.

God often calls us to move forward without the full picture. Paul and Apollos had plans, but in Acts 16, God redirected them. When we hold our plans tightly, disappointment becomes heavier. But when we hold them loosely, surrender becomes freedom.

Your position matters—stand where God has placed you. Your posture matters—stay focused and teachable. Your plan matters—but only when it’s surrendered. Joshua was told to 'be strong and courageous,' not because the journey would be easy, but because God promised to be present.

Sometimes the greatest act of faith isn’t moving faster, but pausing long enough to listen. God’s plan may not always align with your preference, but it always fulfills His purpose.

Prayer Focus

Lord, lead me in Your plan. Give me courage to stand, wisdom to walk, and peace in the process.

Reflection Question

What plan or dream might God be inviting you to surrender today?

About this Plan

UP!

When life feels uncertain or heavy, God calls us to lift our eyes — not to escape what’s around us, but to see Who’s above it all. UP! is a 4-part journey designed to help you look up in faith, stand firm in grace, align your plans with God’s purpose, and step confidently into the seat He’s already prepared for you. Whether you’re walking through challenge or change, these reflections will help you find peace, strength, and direction as you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
