In the Fast Lane: Reset

DAY 3 OF 3

Rise and Renew

Isaiah 40:31

New International Version - UK

"but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."

I’m always mindful of the fact that not all people come to the New Year in the same mind frame. Some are excited and inspired as a ‘blank canvas’ is rolled out before them, others find themselves overwhelmed, even intimidated.

I love that todays scripture points us towards HOPE.

The whole tone of Rise and Renew is about hope.

In the original language - the concept here is of being bound, entwined together with the Lord.

So this isn’t just about some vain hope, but actively binding your life and expectation around God.

Isaiah encourages us that if you do this, your strength will be renewed - literally you can swap your weakness for God's divine strength. This is not just about an energy boost, but utter transformation.

There will be RENEWED strength and supernatural help, as we trust in the Lord. After all, Eagles are known for soaring not flapping!

In this coming year there will be times when you need to ‘Rise-up’, times when you need to ‘run’ and times when you need to ‘walk’ and there will be abundant strength for it all.

May God Bless you and Keep you in this coming year! May your life be entwined with The Lord in such away that you will know supernatural strength for every situation.

For those who feel weary from the battles of the last year, may you Rise-up and be Renewed in Jesus Name!

May you Rise up in confidence that God is for you and God is with you. May you know in your heart that God has gone ahead and made a way.
