Faith Over Feelingsნიმუში

We talk a lot about God's plan for our lives—and it is true, He has one! But something we talk about far less is that the demons have plans too. And I do not say that to scare you—I say it so you will pay attention. Because the enemy does not come waving a red flag and announcing his strategy. He comes quietly. Subtly. And if we are not listening for the right voice, we will start following the wrong one without even realizing it.
Jesus makes it clear in John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” That is Satan’s mission. He is after your peace, your purpose, your confidence, your clarity. He will twist the truth, stir confusion, and convince you to settle for a lesser version of life. And here is the hard part to admit: even if Satan does not win in eternity, he can steal a lot from us in the here and now if we are not alert.
But Jesus does not just warn us—He gives us hope! He says, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” That is His desire for you! Not just survival. Not just checking the right spiritual boxes. But real, full, overflowing life! Life that is rooted in freedom. Life that carries peace even in chaos. Life that is led by His voice—not the noise around us.
That is why it is so important to know the difference. Jesus says that His sheep know His voice. But let’s be honest—sometimes it is hard to tell which voice is speaking. That is why we have to keep our hearts rooted in God’s Word. If we do not spend time with Him, we will forget what His voice sounds like. And before we know it, we are believing lies that do not even sound like lies anymore.
Maybe today you are stuck between the tension of two plans—God’s and the enemy’s. Maybe you have been listening to the wrong voice, not because you meant to, but because you have grown tired or discouraged or distracted. The good news? It is not too late to turn around! Jesus is still speaking. He still calls you by name. And His way still leads to life!
It is not just “Do you believe in God’s plan?” but “Are you living like you do?” Because belief is not just a mindset—it is a lifestyle. It is daily choices. It is whose voice you follow and whose promises you cling to. Your beliefs are reflected in your patterns. Your habits. Your heart.
So today, choose to believe Him again. And then live like He is worth following!
Reflection Question: How can you prioritize God’s Word in your life today? How would making that choice draw you into a more abundant life with Jesus?
