God Is Never Lateნიმუში

God always hears us
Let's look at a tremendous encounter found in the Scriptures. Jesus was summoned because his friend Lazarus was ill, and his sisters sent him a message saying that his friend whom he loved was sick. After this, Jesus stayed a couple more days in the place he was staying before going and answering this call. It might seem as if he didn't care since the news they gave him was urgent, but he wasn't in a hurry.
Are you in the midst of a trial? Are you in desperation? Are you in an anxious hurry? Pause your current journey, stop, and listen. Remember that God doesn't move on our watch neither according to our will.
Returning to the story of Lazarus, he was a friend whom Jesus loved, and before arriving he told his friends "Lazarus is dead". They said, "Yes Lord, he's asleep" but he wanted to emphasize: "He's dead". Having said this, the Lord went up to Bethany and met Lazarus’s older sister Martha who in unbelief said to Him: "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." Jesus then spoke to her of the resurrection and said: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even if they die, will live."
Afterwards her sister Mary arrives, also expressing her complaint to the Lord. Seeing their pain, Jesus was deeply moved and wept although He knew the miracle He was about to perform. The Lord went to the tomb and asked for the tombstone to be rolled away. His sisters told Him not to do so because of the smell, since He had been dead four days. However Jesus called out to Him, and Lazarus emerged from the tomb.
Which was better: a healing for Lazarus, or a resurrection? God took the opportunity to glorify Himself and show them that He is the eternal God, for whom nothing is impossible. You should never forget that He is the marvellous God, the King of kings, the giver of life, the resurrection and the life.
Here I want to highlight the words the Lord Jesus says after commanding Lazarus to come forth, when He says to the Father: “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”
Jesus always hears our prayers and doesn’t ignore them. God always hears us!
