God Is Never Lateნიმუში

He Knows You
Today let's analyze the story of the Samaritan woman. She was drawing water from the well when the Lord arrived. We must keep in mind that she wasn't even part of God's people, and at that time Jews and Samaritans didn't interact although they believed in the same God.
The Lord was traveling with his disciples, and Scripture says it was necessary to pass through Samaria. Why did Jesus have to pass through Samaria? Well, you should know that He never missed an opportunity to fulfill what God had commanded him to do. He had a calling and a message to give, and although He knew of the persecution that was raging behind, for Him, it was a necessity to do God's will.
When Jesus arrived at the well, it was there that He met the Samaritan woman. It was midday yet there she was under the hot sun with her pitcher collecting water. Let's take a look at the background of this situation. The other women went in the morning to collect water, but she went during the full midday sun so she wouldn’t run into them because she was ashamed, surely because the women of the town would accuse her of her sin.
During his conversation with her, Jesus tells her to call her husband, to which she replies that she has no husband, to which He says: "You have said well, 'I have no husband'; for you have had five husbands, and the one you now have is not your husband. This you have said truthfully." If you think you can justify yourself before God, you are far from the truth. He knows our thoughts and even the intentions of our hearts; He knows us because He created us.
Therefore, when He reveals Himself to this shamed woman, He declares the plan of salvation and presents Himself to her as the living water, saying "but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” This promise is for us, if we drink from that living water that is the Holy Spirit, we will never thirst again.
Jesus made tremendous revelations to this Samaritan woman; He made salvation known to her, and God allowed the message of salvation to spread to the people through her. Therefore, if for a single moment you think that Jesus arrived late to the life of this woman who had five husbands, who was so ashamed that she couldn’t collect water with the other women, you should know that the Lord always knows our needs and that He is never late. God had a plan and a purpose for her.
