Affirmations for Singlesნიმუში

Day 26
Affirmation
I will not be led by my feelings, but by the Holy Spirit.
Let’s be honest. Feelings are loud. They can shift based on a single comment, a missed text, or a moment of insecurity. One minute you’re confident, the next you’re questioning everything. Feelings are real, but they are not always true. They are indicators, not instructors.
You were never created to follow your feelings. You were created to be led by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8 tells us that those who are led by the Spirit are the children of God. That means emotional maturity starts with spiritual alignment. It means learning how to pause, pray, and proceed with wisdom, not impulse.
The Holy Spirit gives what feelings cannot: discernment, peace, clarity, and strength.
You may feel forgotten, but the truth is you are chosen.
You may feel overlooked, but God sees you.
You may feel unsure, but He’s already made a way.
The enemy wants you to be reactive. God wants you to be rooted. When you walk by the Spirit, your steps are guided by purpose, not panic. You don’t have to suppress your feelings, but you don’t have to surrender to them either. Give them to God and let the Holy Spirit lead.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” That sound mind helps you stay steady even when your emotions try to run wild.
So today, slow down. Check in with the Holy Spirit before you check out. You are not your feelings. You are His.
Today’s Assignment
Take a moment and be honest with yourself. What area of your life have you been letting emotions lead? Write a short prayer asking the Holy Spirit to take over that area and guide you with peace and truth.
