Affirmations for Singles

DAY 24 OF 30

Day 24

Affirmation
I submit to God’s plan.

If you want to make God laugh, show Him your timeline. Trust me, I’ve been there. I had it all planned out. Married by this age. Career taking off by that age. Perfect house. Perfect timeline. Perfect picture. But God had a different plan. A better one. And yes, it took some surrendering, some tears, and a whole lot of humility to say, “God, I trust You anyway.”

You can have goals. God is not against vision. But your blueprint should never be held tighter than your trust in Him. Real spiritual maturity is when you can say, “Even if it doesn’t happen how I thought, I still believe You are good. I still believe you have a purpose for this.”

God’s plan is layered with wisdom, purpose, and divine timing. You might not understand it all today, but you’re not called to understand, you’re called to trust. If you’re working a job that feels like a detour or living a life that doesn’t look like your Pinterest board, keep walking. Keep serving. Keep trusting. God is using this season to prepare you for where He’s taking you.

Submission is not weakness. It is strength under control. It is saying, “God, not my will, but Yours.” When you stop wrestling for control, you finally find peace. You stop comparing timelines and start embracing the one that’s tailored for you.

Say it boldly today: “God, I let go of my plans so You can do what only You can do.”

Today’s Assignment
Write out your current life goals and plans. Be honest. Then take that list and say a prayer of surrender. At the top, write these words in bold: God, have Your way. I trust You more than I trust my plan.
