Words That Echo in Eternity

Everything that feels solid today will fall. Beauty, success, the security we think we’ve built… all of it fades away. We see it in aging faces, shifting plans, and human promises that aren’t fulfilled.

And yet, we cling to what is fragile as if it were eternal.

But in the midst of this slowly crumbling world, there is a word that never withers. A voice that never fades. A truth that never needs updating. It’s the Word of God! The one that doesn’t conform to time but transcends it.

Every verse you read holds more weight than the universe. Every promise carries the breath of the God who never lies. Every command not only guides, but preserves, comforts, and sustains.

The Bible doesn’t compete with the noise of the world. It holds your soul while everything else falls apart. That’s why we can’t read it like just any other book. We must come with reverence, with hunger, aware that every word from Him is life in the midst of death.

If you’ve ever felt yourself drifting, come back here to the Word that never fails. To the voice that never breaks. To the promise that’s never forgotten. Let’s remember what Isaiah 40:8 says: “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”

Prayer

Faithful God, everything around me changes, but You never do. Teach me to trust what never fades: Your word. When my soul trembles, let me find refuge in it. May I not cling to what shines for a day and dies the next, but to what burns eternally. Speak to me from above… and help me stay close to You.
