Rebuilt Faith

DAY 11 OF 30

Day 11: God Provides

From the beginning of Scripture, God reveals Himself as the One who provides. Abraham discovered this on Mount Moriah when God asked him to sacrifice Isaac, his beloved son. At the last moment, God provided a ram, and Abraham named the place Jehovah Jireh, “The Lord will provide.”

This story points us to the ultimate act of God’s provision: giving His only Son, Jesus, as the sacrifice for our sins. If God has already given us His best, can we not trust Him to provide for our daily needs? Tithing and giving are not primarily about money; they are about trust. When we give, we declare that God - not wealth - is our provider and our security.

Many of us, like Abraham, wrestle with trust. We hedge our bets, hold back, or give only when it feels safe. Yet God invites us to deeper faith. As we acknowledge our blessings and return a portion back to Him, we step into a rhythm of provision and trust. In giving, we discover the truth: God always provides.

Questions

  • Where in your life are you struggling to trust God’s provision?
  • How might giving be a way to grow in that trust this week?
