Faith That Feels Real: Part 3 - Finding God in Communityნიმუში

One of the lies we believe is: “My struggles make me a burden.” We fear that sharing what we’re really going through will push others away. But God’s Word says otherwise. Romans 12:15 calls us to “Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.”
This is more than just good advice—it’s a picture of what true community in Christ looks like. When we’re genuinely connected, joy and sorrow are shared. Celebration doesn’t stir envy; it overflows into shared rejoicing. Sorrow doesn’t isolate; it unites hearts through compassion.
Your struggles aren’t a barrier to connection—they’re often the very bridge. When you allow others to enter into your joy or your pain, you invite them into the kind of authentic love that reflects Jesus.
Reflect & Apply:
- When have you hesitated to share a struggle because you feared being a burden?
- How have you experienced someone else’s presence bring comfort in your pain?
- Who in your life can you invite into your joy or sorrow this week?
