A Husband’s Prayer:

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for my wife. Father, I thank You that You have made her in Your image. Father, I thank You that she is a woman after Your Heart.

Father, I thank You for her wisdom, I thank You for her insight. Father, I thank You that she is a daughter after Your Own Heart. Father, there is no one like her.

Father, I thank You that my house is a place of peace. Father, I thank You that she is a reflection of Your Love and Character. My heart safely trusts in her. Lord, we submit to You. Father, our house trusts in You. Father, we choose to obey You. Lord, lead the heart of our house in every season of our lives.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Father, I thank You for his wisdom, I thank You for his leadership. Father, I thank You for his understanding. Father, I thank You that he is a husband after Your Own Heart. Father, there is no one like him.

Father, I thank You that our house is a place of peace. Father, I thank You that he is a reflection of Your Character, and my heart safely trusts in him. Father, we choose to submit to You. Lord, our house trusts You.

Father, continue to lead the heart of our house in every season of our lives. Lord, we surrender to You.

Action:

• 1 Peter 5:7 KJV declares, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Choose to cast your cares, worries, desires, and anxiety over to God. Give it over to God. Whatever that “it” may be—choose to deliberately give “it” over to Him.
• Make a list of your cares, worries, desires, and anxieties and deliberately cast them over to God.
• Decide not to blame each other for the past. Choose to surrender your thoughts, cares, and desires over to Christ daily.
• Your spouse is not your enemy. Redirect your frustrations and pray for one another. Choose not to war against each other. Redirect your focus and war together.
