EquipHer Vol. 30: "Weaknesses Are Fertile Ground for Growth"ნიმუში

Day 1 – Weakness Is Not a Threat
"Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God." - Leo Buscaglia
There are days when the battle does not come from the outside, but rises from within us.
We evaluate ourselves and, instead of seeing potential, we focus on the things we lack—our shortcomings and the skills we do not yet have. It is in these moments that we begin to view our weaknesses as a frustration and threat to reaching our fullest potential.
However, God never asked us to be perfect. He asks us to steward the gifts He has graciously entrusted to us to the best of our ability. He has not called us to excel in everything, but to be faithful with what we have been given, which includes being humble to admit we were never meant to do it all on our own.
Scripture reminds us that “Every believer has received grace gifts, so use them to serve one another as faithful stewards of the many-colored tapestry of God’s grace” (1 Peter 4:10, The Passion Translation). Each of us have received gifts from God, which are not meant to be guarded or hidden, rather, something to use, develop, invest, and grow—not only for our own benefit, but to be a blessing to others.
As women who are called to lead, build, and carry responsibility in professional environments, there is one truth we should remember: we do not need to do everything perfectly. We need to recognize, activate, and invest what God has already entrusted to us.
When you begin to live with intentional awareness of the gifts you have received, your weaknesses start to lose their power, because you have everything you need to bear fruit right where you have been planted.
Take a moment to write down the gifts and abilities you recognize as part of your God-given “equipment.” Choose one you can activate today: volunteer for a task, encourage someone on your team, lead a conversation with empathy and clarity.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for what You have placed inside me. Help me stop focusing on what I lack, and begin to cultivate the gifts You have entrusted to me. I want to be a faithful steward of Your grace and live my life actively and joyfully, doing what You have called me to do. Amen.
