The Free-Indeed Life

The foundation of truth is what unlocks the captive. Every word from God's book and every whisper from His Spirit leads you into the great unsticking.

Wow! 30 days! Here you are at the end of what I hope has been a challenging adventure through God's Word. I pray that much has been revealed and that you have been strengthened in your walk with the Lord. While it would likely be impossible to absorb the scope of all that has been touched upon in such a short amount of time, my deepest Prayer for you is that you have been set aflame to learn more and to truly experience the free life.

All that has been covered over the last month has been rooted in the Word of God, unshakable in the firm foundation of His written instruction for His bride. It is this truth that shall set you free. Let's journey back over just a bit of what the last 30 days have held:

• Placebo Christianity – We explored the depths of what it is to be a true follower of Christ versus a counterfeit experience that yields no life change.
• Matters of the Heart – We peeled back the deep wounds left by life's circumstances and the need to allow the Lord to expose every hidden and dark place so that His light can bring the necessary healing. We talked about the difference between waiting on the Lord versus hastiness yielded to uncontrollable emotions – and the whole heap of trouble that's gotten many of us into!
• Matters of the Mouth – We discussed the power of the tongue and the havoc it wreaks when we blindly hurl words into the atmosphere without consideration about whether they align with God's Word or not. We looked at the curses many receive through such words and the power in the spirit realm of breaking these things aloud.
• Matters of the Mind – We delved deep into the importance of renewing the mind, rebuking Satan of the lies he torments with, and the necessity of replacing every thought with God's Word. This process of identifying, rebuking, and replacing is the catalyst to a peaceful mind.
• Unforgiveness – We unveiled the heavy weight of unforgiveness and the requirement in God's law to forgive others, no matter how terrible the offense.
• Obedience – We discussed sin, its consequences, and the free life invited through our obedience to the Lord.
• Spiritual Warfare – The complexity of spiritual warfare and the lack of knowledge in the Body of Christ is dangerous. We learned that the weapons of our warfare are praise, worship, fasting, declarations from God's Word, and breaking curses with the power of our tongue – to name a few.

Every Word from this devotional has been Holy Spirit-inspired for you – the reader. The Lord has set a divine appointment with you. His intention for His bride is freedom, wholeness, healing, and restoration in every way. Your heart, mind, head, body, and spirit should all experience this expensive gift.

As we close our time together, I invite you to continue this journey of wrestling with the Lord in the areas that were either difficult to understand or difficult to obey. Allow Him to teach and stretch you. Allow Him to minister to the pains of the past. Allow Him to be your provision, physician, and comforter in every way.
