The Breaking: Part II

Be thorough. Be consistent. Fight for your freedom. The Lord Jesus paid for you to laugh without fear of your future, embracing each new day with excitement and joy. Break every remaining tie that binds.

Spiritual warfare is a very real part of our world, whether we acknowledge its existence or not. Since the beginning of time, in the Garden of Eden, evil has encroached and attempted to outshine the glory of the Lord. This story has not changed over thousands of years. There is a battle of good and evil – the Kingdom of Darkness against the Kingdom of Heaven. We see this battle often, as our sons or daughters drift as prodigals or depression knocks on the door of our friends, or anxiety becomes a daily challenge for many. These are the intentional strategies of the enemy.

The good news is that we are part of the Kingdom of certain victory, so it really is an unfair fight. But until we get to Heaven with our Lord, if we truly want to experience peace and freedom on earth, we must fight well in this war and become a chain breaker through the power of God inside us. We discussed over the last two days the importance of repenting and renouncing. We addressed sample prayers in forgiveness, renouncing, and word curses. Today, let's finish up with other key areas that can create bondage and sample prayers that can be effective in releasing these in our lives.

Bloodline Prayer:

"I break and release myself from all generational curses, patterns, and influences on my bloodline, both known and unknown, including all oaths, agreements, covenants, and trades made by my ancestors. I serve the Lord alone. I break all bloodline history with all the following, going back 60 generations, including but not limited to: ______________. I am a bloodline breaker through the power of Jesus that resides inside me. In Jesus' Name."

Witchcraft-Breaking Prayer:

"I cancel all witchcraft assignments on me, my family, and those that I love. I decree and declare that the impact of the Kingdom of Darkness against my mind, my body, my life, and my family will be null and void. Every witch operating in the Kingdom of Darkness must bow to the name of Jesus, and all attempts to create confusion or chaos in my life shall be rendered useless. I claim protection through the blood of Jesus Christ, my Lord."

If your Christian walk has had limited exposure to teaching on spiritual authority, warfare, and the ways in which Satan works to destroy Believers, the prayers above may seem uncomfortable, awkward, or even weird. However, as I hope you've discovered through our time together, the real impact of Satan's plots is seen in our day-to-day lives in many ways, often without us noticing. Satan isn't simply "over there," attempting to destroy other people's lives. He is also after you and your children! In Hosea 4:6 (NKJV), we see the Lord says, "my people are being destroyed for lack of knowledge." We cannot select limited Scripture in our daily Bible time and not embrace the full counsel of God's Word from beginning to end. In it are found keys to the Kingdom, treasures that help us navigate our daily lives, and strategies to defeat the enemy, thereby experiencing the unstuck life.
