Miracles and Mysteries: Matthew 8-13ნიმუში

Who has true authority over evil?
Jesus heals a demon-oppressed man, and the people marvel—could He be the Son of David, the promised King? But the Pharisees, rather than rejoicing, accuse Him of working by Satan’s power. Jesus exposes the absurdity of their claim. A divided kingdom falls, but His power is undeniable. If He drives out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has arrived.
Here is the glory of Jesus’s authority. He is stronger than Satan, the one who binds the strong man and plunders his house. This moment echoes Exodus 8:19, where Pharaoh’s magicians recognize God’s power at work. Yet the Pharisees harden their hearts, standing on the edge of blasphemy—rejecting the very Spirit by whom Jesus brings freedom.
Today, ponder this: Are you resisting or welcoming the work of Jesus in your life?
