The Spirit of Yahweh rushed upon Jephthah and empowered him. He and his men marched through Gilead and Manasseh and returned to Mizpah in Gilead. Whenever we submit to God before we go into any conflict, God empowers us with his presence. We can confidently go ahead into our day with the knowledge that God is with us. When we yield to his leadership, he is the one who guides us—the frontrunner of our faith.

No matter what you are facing today, look to the Lord for help. His spirit-strength is available to you through the fellowship of his Spirit. He is with you, here and now, closer than your very breath. He is the courage that rises within your soul. He is the resolute confidence that fills your mind. He is the energy that rushes through your body and readies you for what is ahead. Go forth in the power of his presence.

Spirit, you are my sustenance and strength. Fill me with your power, wisdom, and clarity. Lead me in your might. I depend on you more than I rely on anything else. You are my help, and you are my victory.
