Courage to Conquer: Reclaim God's Vision and Victoryნიმუში

Courageous Love
Love is courageous. It takes risks, and it does not seek to control others. Here, Ruth’s courage was not only about herself or Boaz, but it was also tied to her love and honor of Naomi. Boaz was startled to awake and find a woman lying at his feet. It makes sense that he was. He assumed he had been alone on the threshing floor. It was surprising to find at some point in the night that was no longer the case.
Ruth’s courage and vulnerability was not a guarantee of Boaz’s kind reception. She had known him to be a generous and honest man, but that did not mean she could foresee how he would respond to a strange woman lying at his feet. There is always a chance, when we act in vulnerability, that we will be wounded. However, courage does not require us to know the outcome; it simply requires us to act on it and face whatever comes.
Yahweh, I trust you with my future, and I trust your help in vulnerable situations. When I step out in courageous faith, you are my vision. Whatever comes, I know that you are with me.
