To experience true riches as a believer, you must possess an overflow mindset and a wholesome tongue; you must cut out shortages from your language. Watch your confessions; you cannot be healthier than your mouth.

Years ago, a woman came to see me over a matter, and I told her that I would only get involved if she would not talk to anybody again concerning the matter. She said, “Pastor, can prayer be too much?” I answered her, “It can!” She had been going from one man of God to the other, discussing the same matter and she was not ready to stop. If a patient is not ready to listen to the Doctor’s instruction, is there a way she can be helped? Since the answer is “No,” there is no reason for me to be praying when I know that I will waste my prayers.

I went to dedicate the house of a Professor who is one of the leading professors in his field in Africa. The children asked me to have a chat with him and when we talked, I said to him, “Sir, if you can stop saying negative things about yourself, God will accelerate these things you desire.” Within the next two years, almost everything that had been tied down was released to him.

You can claim your intelligence in the presence of divine intelligence and continue in your troubles, or you can submit and let God take over. God blesses us differently, but He loves us equally. God loves us based on our new birth, but He blesses us based on our obedience.
