Daily Prayers for My Childrenნიმუში

"Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:13-14, NIV).

Dear Lord,

Help me to place all my trust in You when it comes to my child(ren). What a privilege to be chosen to raise and rear Your precious child(ren). You trusted me with this beautiful responsibility and I am grateful. What they are doing, or the choices they've made may not be so precious right now. Help me to not "linger" in worry. Help me not to fear for their life. Help me to stand firm on Your Word as I look for the Power of Your Deliverance in their life. Go before me and my child(ren). Fight for us. Contend for us. Help me to give all our difficulties to you. I will fear no evil. You are with us! Thank You, Lord.

In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Challenge: Now sit quietly for a moment. Ask yourself, what battles am I fighting that I need to relinquish and allow God to fight for me? What situation(s) in my child(ren)'s life do I need to take my hands off of? Whatever God illuminates in your mind, ask Him to help you to let go and to trust Him.
