But what is the solution to our lack of true rest? Fin dall'Antico Testamento, Dio stipulò diversi patti con il Suo popolo. Tuttavia, Israele non li ha mai rispettati ed è per questo che Egli promise loro un Nuovo Patto. Tramite Cristo siamo sotto un Nuovo Patto. Con la Sua venuta possiamo avere delle certezze stabili in eterno e constatare come tutte le promesse di Dio verso il Suo popolo si siano compiute in Cristo.
