Will you take a moment to reflect...

On the greatness of God’s love? Think about how He has touched your heart, the healing His love brought about, and how kind He has been to you. God’s love is the most amazing thing in the world.

And now consider this…

YOU can shine with the light of Christ’s love for the world. As you live your life for God’s purposes, others will begin to see that there’s something different about you. And what they’ll really notice is the way you love people.

In John 13:34 and 35, Jesus said…

…now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.

When you first gave your life to Jesus...

Did your friends and family notice something had changed?

As God transforms you, people may wonder what’s going on. They might ask you why you’re so kind and where this unusual love comes from. They may notice that you show love to people who aren’t loving toward you—even your enemies!

Situations like that are a perfect opportunity to share your story. You just tell them the truth—you’re able to love others well because Christ first loved you.

1 John 4:19 says

We love each other because he loved us first.

God’s love is like a bright light shining in a dark world, and you've been filled with this light. It draws hurting and broken people to Jesus. Let it shine through you!

Let’s pray together…

Lord Jesus, we pray that You would shine Your love through us brightly—that others would notice a contrast with the way the world loves. Bring us opportunities and open doors to share the story of how You have changed our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
