Kingdom Virtues

DAY 2 OF 7

Humanity: seeing worth in everyone.

God created man in His image. That means that every person–no matter their status, views, or life experience–has worth impossible to lose. Humanity as a virtue is an ability to see another person not as a “problem” or as a “function,” but as a bearer of God’s image, as a person God loves immensely.

In the world where we are evaluated depending on our achievements, efficiency, or popularity, to be a bearer of humanity is a prophetic act. It means treating others not as a means, but as a goal. It means not simply protecting life, but honoring it with our words, views, and the way we treat it.

Humanity is not about weakness. It’s about the strength to admit every person’s worth, even of those who cannot give us anything in return.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • Do I see the worth in the people I find it difficult to deal with?
  • Do other people, being by my side, feel that their life is valuable?
  • When someone thinks of me, does he or she feel that there’s more light and goodness in his/her life due to me?

Prayer:

Oh, Lord, please teach me to see Your image in every person. Help me to live in such a way that, being by my side, no one would feel unnoticed.

About this Plan

Kingdom Virtues

The virtues of the Kingdom are transformative values that can change the world around us. This seven-day plan will help you transition from knowledge to action and from declarations to lifestyle. You will explore five key virtues—humanity, hospitality, safety, empathy, and interaction—and discover how God's love becomes tangible through them. If our loved ones do not experience the goodness of our relationship with God, it is time to reflect. The Kingdom of God begins with how we live every day.
