DAY 27 OF 28

Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!

S: Scripture

If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then summarize it in your own words.

O: Observation

Read 2 Corinthians 5:20 again.

  • How are followers of Jesus described in it?
  • What direction is given?
  • What questions do you have?

A: Application

What's a way you've noticed God consistently transforming your life?

How does this passage invite you to share your story of life change with others?

What's something you need to make right or reconcile to develop greater consistency in sharing your faith?

P: Prayer

Spend some time in prayer about what it means to be Jesus' ambassador. Ask God to reveal to you people in your life who need to experience God's love through you. Then, say thank you for the privilege of getting to share how God is changing your life, too.

About this Plan

Reputation

Sharing our faith isn’t just about having the perfect words—it’s about how we live. In this 4-week devotional from Grow Curriculum, we’ll explore how Daniel and his friends pointed others to God through their actions. Their reputation showed that faith is shared not just in words but in how we live daily. We’ll also see how the right friends can encourage us to live out our faith.
