Welcome to our Daily Devotional and new series This Is Us - During this series, we are going to journey through our Freedom Church DNA.  God created us in His image and wants us to live our best life.  As we explore our church DNA, through well-known Bible stories, fun, games, and activities we want to explore and understand that God has placed each of this DNA within us and this is what makes us who we are - This is Us! 

This week we have been looking at our Freedom DNA - Relevant to our Time and Changeling

Relevant to our time

We will share an ageless message that engages the next generation and is easily understood by unchurched people. We will adapt our methods and lay down our preferences for the times and cultures we are called to reach.

Changeling

We are on a constant journey of transformation and personal freedom to become more like Jesus. We refuse to get stuck in our ways, taking individual responsibility for our learning and growth.

‘A Changed Man’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 488-493) or in Acts 9

Paul was a changed man, instead of hating God and His people he loved them and lived his life to tell others about how good God is.  God changed Paul’s heart. 

Paul took every opportunity to share God’s message of love and changed as he learned more about God.

ASK:

How are you telling others about how good God is?  What have you learned about God this week?  

REMEMBER:

So God created human beings in his image. In the image of God he created them. He created them male and female - Genesis 1:27

SAY:

God created me, 

Magnificent you can see. 

Every cell and part, 

Were designed in His heart. 

From the beginning of creation,

Every clan, tribe and nation. 

Made in His image, 

With purpose, love and to encourage. 

Whatever come what may, 

This is my DNA!
