Infinitum is a way of life centered on following Jesus by loving God and loving others through an emphasis on the habits and disciplines of surrender, generosity, and mission. We aim to see the Bible and also the world through these Jesus-colored lenses. This short reading plan is based on the habit of Generosity.

Generosity

God did not design us to be alone.  Rather, He designed us to be in community with other believers. Brotherhood is the relationship between brothers, especially brothers in Christ. So much can be learned and gained from a strong community of believers. It’s not only a great option for a believer; it’s mandatory to survive in today’s society.

True North: Brotherhood Is A Necessity 

Lent begins with a call to release control and embrace surrender. By letting go of the burdens we carry, we create space for God’s grace to bring renewal and transformation. Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”



Lent: The Journey of Letting Go

Join Hillsong East Coast as we journey through the Gospel of Matthew in our Connect Groups. Over the course of 8 weeks, read through the book of Matthew and reflect on some of the themes found in the reading with a devotional and group discussion at the end of each week.

The Book of Matthew

The 4+1 plan is designed so that you will read in 4 different places in Scripture each day ( YouVersion will often list the chapters separately; so "John 2-3" would be presented as "John 2" and "John 3 ") + a reading from Psalms. In using this plan you will read through the entire Bible in a year and through the Psalms twice. The advantage of this type of plan is that you will be exposed to various parts of the Old and New Testaments simultaneously, which will keep your reading very fresh and remind you of “the whole counsel of God”! The plan is “semi-chronological” at points, the prophets of the Old Testament and the letters of the New Testament placed in rough chronological order. I pray you will enjoy your time in the Word this year!

SE Students - No Matter What - Part 3
