Words have power. Therefore it is important to keep tight control of our tongue. The Bible shows how David who, even at times of severe attacks from his enemy, chose to have a trusting attitude towards God, and to speak of the Lord’s goodness in his situation. Let’s learn to do this.

“Lord, You are worthy of my praise. Let my tongue speak only words of Your truth and of hope. Let my speech be filled with thanksgiving and gratitude. I now proclaim Your victory in my life. In Jesus’s name. Amen.”
