Breaking Free From ShameEgzanp

We all have a junk drawer. Even when you clear it out, somehow clutter finds its way back. The same can happen with shame. Though Jesus has set us free, sometimes we slip back into old mindsets and habits that chain us again.
Paul’s words remind us: You are free. Now live free. Evaluate today—your mindset, your relationships, your habits. Are they helping you walk in freedom, or pulling you back into shame?
Jesus paid too high a price for us to live like we’re still in chains. Today, take a bold step forward. Forgive yourself. Silence the lies. Offer that same freedom to others.
Prayer:
God, thank you for setting me free. Help me to live like it. Show me where I’m still clinging to shame and give me courage to let it go. Amen.

Shame is one of the enemy’s most subtle weapons. It whispers lies about our worth, our past, and our place in God’s family. It convinces us we’re too broken, too stained, too far gone. But this week, we are reminding ourselves of the truth: in Christ, we are fully forgiven, completely loved, and truly free.
