GOD'S LOVING PROMISES: HE IS IN YOUR FUTURE

My brother knows more about cars than I ever will. But he sometimes meets his match. He bought a 1950 Ford once that was in pretty rough shape. After working on it for many months, he just felt overwhelmed and gave up on it. The car sat in the driveway for a long time, its dull brown primer making it look like a candidate for the junkyard.

Do you ever feel as though your once-bright hopes will never come true? Has your optimism ground to a halt? Do you no longer believe that anything good is coming in your future?

I've got some good news for all you. God lives in your future. He likes you a lot and loves to get involved in making things happen for people He cares about.

God isn't just an observer, just watching as your hopes and dreams wither. He cares about you. He created you for a purpose, rescued you at the cost of his Son's life, and wants to spend eternity enjoying life with you. He gets no thrill from your misery. God says in Jeremiah 29:11, "I know the plans I have for you . . . plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

There is hope in His Word. Let Him talk to you today.
