WHOM ARE WE WORSHIPING?: GOD IS OMNIPOTENT

How strong are you? How much of your world can you control? Can you bench-press 5,000 pounds? Can you lift a mountain? Can you change the weather? Well, of course you can't.

But your God can. God is omnipotent. That means that there is no limit to His power. When God came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ, His disciples watched in awe as He showed total mastery over all creation. The gospel of Mark tells how Jesus' disciples were amazed when He silenced a violent storm that had threatened to swamp their boat. They said, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey Him!" (Mark 4:41).

Isn't it good to know that wherever you sail your little boat today, the master of wind and wave is riding along?
