God Can Use You

Our world values the latest, the greatest and the most updated things. We are enamored with new and shiny. And we like to replace the broken and worn out. However, Scripture is clear that God uses the broken, the surrendered, the less than perfect to do His work. It is easy to think that we are not qualified to do the work God asks His followers to do. We often focus on our less than perfect past, our recent mistakes, or the fact that we are not the best at something. Author Jennie Allen shares some much needed encouragement.

Do you think God can do great things through your weakness? Take some time this week to read through the book of Acts. There you will see God doing amazing things through His less-than-perfect followers. And when you see someone else who is struggling with the thought that God cannot use them because of their weakness, come alongside them. Encourage them and pray with them. Help them see that God is waiting to use their weakness to show off His strength!
