Bible Survey: Part OneEgzanp

Jesus quotes verse 5 when he defines what He called the greatest commandment in Matthew 22:37, Mark 12:30 and Luke 10:27. This verse is one that has been recited daily by diligent Jews for thousands of years. They are told to make sure they teach God’s law to their children and to remind themselves of God’s law throughout their day.

What ways do you have of reminding yourself of your relationship with God and desire to obey Him throughout your day? I’ve seen people with “verse-a-day” calendars on their desks. Others have signed up for getting messages sent to their phone or email. Hopefully you are reading the Bible daily. We can be fickle in our relationship with God, so reminders are important.
