The Laws

These three chapters contain practical guidelines if followed today the world would be a better place. Reading through these laws you see they are practical, simple and fair.

In today's world God expects us to be fair to our helpers and pay them what they deserve. We need to treat them with kindness and dignity. We need to honor the commitment we make with them when we hire them.

We see a whole set of rules under various topics. The underlying thought is justice. God is concerned about everyday activities. This is the reason He takes every effort to mention them. We can also see God’s concern, grace and mercy and His fairness through these passages. 

The final section in today's passage talks about an angel preparing the way for us. How many times have we noticed that what could have been a horrible experience was not all that bad? In some cases it may be good. I always believe when we are in the center of God’s will He will send angels before us to prepare the way. We also should be able to identify the angels, God sends in our life. At all times we need to be sensitive to God’s instructions.
