Today, we begin the Gospel of Mark. The book of Mark is a short and fast-paced biography of the life of Jesus. It is easy to breeze through the adventure without taking it all in. As you read, pause often so that you can use your imagination to visualize the scenes. Can you imagine the landscape, the sights, the smells, and the look on each person's face? Try to visualize what you are reading in the vivid colors of real life. Remember that these stories are not fairy tales. As you read, try to see the text like a movie in your mind.
