Bottom Line: We can hear God's voice if we listen.
Luke 3 walks through the story of Jesus’ baptism and is one of the passages in the Bible where we see all three parts of the Trinity present. Jesus is baptized, the Spirit descends on Him, and God (the Father) speaks audibly. We may not have that same experience today, but God still speaks, and there are several ways that we can receive it. We hear God speak through the Bible, through the Holy Spirit, and through others.
As Christ-followers, we exist to elevate the name of Jesus, and one of the best ways we can do that is to take the time to hear God speak to us. Take the time today. Take time on your way home from work or school, or when you are laying in bed to intentionally give God time to speak to you.
How would you define baptism?
What questions do you have about hearing God through the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and others? Which is the hardest for you to listen to?
What jumped out to you the most through today’s scriptures?
