We learn a lot about ourselves when we go through difficult times. We may even see things in ourselves - insecurities, fears or even sins - that we didn't see before. But God is there for us. Every day and every morning, Jesus makes us new. We always have a fresh start. The truth is, we don’t have enough in ourselves to make it happen. We need Jesus.

While you may feel like others might look at you and see only what you're capable of on the outside, God looks much deeper. For example, many used to think that Jesus was a mere man, but that changed when He was resurrected from the grave. God looks at us based on what we can become. He has empowered us with the same resurrection Spirit to become new. God does more than we ask, think or imagine and He is doing something new in you.
