Chapter 8 may be one of the most instructive, exciting, and hope filled descriptions of the "replaced life" or "Spirit-filled" life in the Word. Take your time here and prayerfully ask the Holy Spirit's guidance as we read of His wonderful work in our lives. The Holy Spirit lives in us and longs to live through us as He guides us day by day, even moment by moment. As you read through chapter 8 stop and reflect each time you realize that He is truly our "Helper" in a real or perhaps different way. With His mighty power in us there will always be hope and we are truly never alone.
As you read take notes. List how many times the Spirit is mentioned. Think about how each different way or role impacts us as we strive follow Jesus day by day.
