Jesus made it a point to not only talk about how He loved others, but to demonstrate that love by doing things like feeding and helping people, listening to people and spending time with people, defending people when others saw them as less than human, and so much more. Today, we can follow His lead in demonstrating love to other people in our lives. Look at the people around you–from your household to the cafeteria at school to your neighbors. Who are the people Jesus would have noticed and loved that we forget to even think twice about every day? How can you serve them, and not get any credit but allow them to experience God’s love and care for them? Start by talking to a friend about a way you can show God’s love to the people in your life. Use Jesus’s examples mentioned above to guide you as you come up with ways to show love to others.
