You Are God's FieldEgzanp

Weeds among the wheat
Since every parable about God’s kingdom highlights only part of a multifaceted reality, Jesus told multiple different parables. Today we read again about a man who sowed seed in his field, but now the focus is on weeds that are secretly sown by his enemy in the same plot of land.
Again, the man who sows the good seed is Jesus. His enemy is Satan, who always tries to oppose God’s work and lure people away from His kingdom. He is sowing in the same field, which is the world we live in. Children of God and “sons of the evil one” both live in the same world. God will not separate them till the end of the present age, when He will judge humanity. Then it will become clear to everybody who is “wheat” and who is “weed”. But now both grow together, and it is not always obvious to us who is a real Christian and who is not. Jesus warns us about false prophets “who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves” (Matthew 7:15). But He also tells us how to unmask them: “You will recognize them by their fruits”.
Do you know what kind of “fruits” God’s children bear? Read Galatians 5:19-23!
