Day Three: Jesus is our Deliverer! 

"And so Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.” — Romans 11:26-27 

When you are saved, you experience an ongoing process of redemption and deliverance that works miracles every day in your life.

When Jesus died, He defeated everything that the enemy could use to keep you in bondage.  Think for a moment of the endless torrent of trials or hardships you may be facing in your life. You cannot turn away from those results or choices without someone to help you, because by yourself, the river of hopelessness will carry you away toward certain destruction.

But the love of the Father revolutionized all of it! He sent Jesus, and He watched Him die on the cross to become your Deliverer!

2 Corinthians 1:10 describes Jesus as the One who: “delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us: in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us again”

Are you in need of deliverance today? Do you need to be delivered from a bad situation or a bad choice?  An addiction, a sickness, a difficult trial? Ask your Deliverer, Jesus, to rescue you today from the situation you are in. Romans 10:13 says, “All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered.” 

Say So: Jesus is my Deliverer. He has delivered me from sin and death. He does deliver me today from my current trouble, and He will deliver me in my hour of need. My trust is completely in Him and His delivering hand, in Jesus’ Name.
