Earlier this week we read the promise God made to Abraham—that he would be blessed and would bless all the nations.

While Jesus is the ultimate blessing—the one who came to rescue us from sin, death, and destruction—he’s also given us a role to play.

You can be a blessing to others. 

How? By showing others what Jesus is like and by living lives of love.

You see, Jesus didn’t just come to rescue us and make a way for us to have a relationship with God. He also modeled the kind of life God intended us to live. 

We are to live lives of love. We are made to love God and to love others.

Because of what Jesus did, we can bring hope, joy, and peace to others. We can show others what Jesus is like through our actions and the way we treat them. This Christmas season, share the hope we have with others. 

Go and show others the same love Jesus showed you. Be that example and that light for others.
