FORGIVE

Choosing to follow Jesus doesn’t just set you on a new path; it means that God doesn’t hold your past against you. Simply put, He forgives you.

Being forgiven is such a liberating experience. Living without shame or regret means that we can live with lightness and ease.

And the best part: you don’t have to earn God’s forgiveness; He gives it freely.

There are two requirements to being forgiven though.

1. You need to humbly admit that you need to be forgiven.
2. You need to forgive others.

We cannot be the recipients of undeserved grace and then hold others in contempt. Being forgiven means that you are now free to forgive. You don’t have to keep score any more. God has cleared your scorecard of wrongdoing, and He instructs you to do the same.

The sooner you choose forgiveness, the sooner you find freedom. Be like Jesus: He forgave you, now you forgive others.
