Feast of Tabernacles Part 2 // Praying for Provision

As we discussed in the previous devotion, the Feast of Tabernacles was the last feast in the Jewish calendar and it was a celebration of God’s provision for the people of Israel. Traditionally, there was another element to this feast. Alongside expressing their thankfulness for God’s provision, they would also pray, asking God to provide rain for the next season. 

In this final devotion for this season of prayer and feasting, let us pray that God would continue to provide for us and bless us in the next season of our lives. 

Prayer:

God, we thank You so much for all that You have done for me, my family and my church. I pray that You would continue to bless me and provide for me. I ask that You would equip me, empower me and provide me with anything I need in this next season. In Jesus’ name, amen.
