Take time to read this verse again. The qualities listed here? Like-minded, sympathetic, loving, compassionate, humble—these are all qualities that God wants to define the way we treat each other. This is God’s vision for the way our relationships should look. It may not always be easy, but when we lead with these things, our relationships will not only be better, but they’ll begin to reflect some of who God is to the people around us. And that’s pretty amazing! This week, have a conversation in your small group about this verse. Talk about how you can make this the way you treat each other. Then, memorize the verse together to help you keep in mind how God wants you to treat each other.
