Haggai 1:13, 14

What does it take to stir up our spirit? - to motivate us to sacrificial, courageous action?
There are many things that we might know about God or about his purposes for our lives, but they lie dormant like sediment at the bottom of a drink. God desires to stir up our spirits, to stir up our courage and to stir up our faith. The word of the Lord came to Zerubbabel, “I am with you”.
When God is with us, who can be against us?
When God declares his presence we have perspective, we have peace and we have power. The presence of the living God changes everything. It’s time for our spirits to be stirred up into action and obedience. The living God is with us.
Jesus, thank you that you are with us (me) to the very end of the age. I will live on mission with you today.
