God's love seeks peace.
When you choose Jesus to be the leader of your life, God’s Spirit lives inside of you. When you let God’s Spirit lead you, He makes your heart want to be at peace with everyone around you. But, everyone has selfish thoughts, too. Even David had to decide if he would get revenge on Saul, or let him go. Pray to God, and do your best to say, “yes!” to God’s peace and, “no!” to your selfish thoughts. When you do, God’s Spirit helps you have peace with others who follow Jesus, too!
