Far too many people have settled for fake riches. They have settled for things that money can buy, losing out on the things that money can’t buy. If you’re not rich in God, it really doesn’t matter how much money you have, what’s in your CD, 401K, or bank account. Those things have their place, but what good is having a bunch of riches in time, only to stand before God totally impoverished because you did not have a life that had eternal value attached to it?

So, what I want to do is refocus all of your attention on the eternal perspective of wealth, because when you have that perspective, you can enjoy better the temporal provision of wealth. So, don’t place a great value on the things of this earth like money, possessions, or prestige. Embrace an eternal perspective by finding value in the life that is to come. When it does, make sure you have forwarded more ahead than you have left behind.
